Life doesn’t always go as planned.

One day you’re on track, and the next, everything feels heavy. Maybe you don’t even know when it shifted—just that it did, and now it’s hard to stay grounded.

You’re not alone. Every man faces moments of doubt, pressure, and pain. What matters is what you do next. Reaching out isn’t weakness—it’s strength.

The Noblemen Group offers a space to talk, connect, and move forward. Our weekly meetings are here to help you face challenges, regain your footing, and build a healthier, more connected life—with others who understand.

Know The Facts

  • In Canada, men represent approximately 75% of all suicides, with an average of eight men dying by suicide each day—totaling over 3,000 deaths annually. These figures do not account for the thousands of additional male deaths each year classified as “accidental,” including fatalities due to overdose, falls, and drowning, many of which may have underlying mental health factors.
  • In Canada Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for men under the age of 50.
  • According to a meta-analysis looking at 20 studies across North America and Western Europe, 19.7% of men (fewer than 1 in 5) had contact with mental health professionals in the year leading up to suicide, compared to 35.0% of women.
  • According to a 2005 survey of 132,221 Canadians, men were found to be 2.7 times less likely to utilize mental health services than women.
  • In 2019, 1,666,200 Canadian men over the age of 15 (roughly 9% of the male population) reported that they have seriously contemplated suicide in their lifetime.
  • In Canada, approximately one million men experience major depressive disorder annually, yet they are less likely to seek mental health support compared to women. Men account for 3 out of 4 suicides in Canada, and suicide is the second leading cause of death for men under 50. Furthermore, a recent study indicates that 23% of Canadian men are at risk of moderate-to-severe depression.
